Price
Free to run. RankRadar uses public search engines directly — there is no per-search fee and no paid API key required. You can plug in your own Serper.dev or SerpAPI keys in Settings — add several and RankRadar switches to the next one when credits run out.
Speed & limits
Free searches are deliberately slow and spaced out to stay reliable: roughly 100 keywords in 30–45 minutes. Runs continue on the server after you close the tab. Per-account keyword and daily-run limits are set by your admin.
How accurate
Each keyword is checked across the full top 100 organic results from one engine per keyword (your own API keys first, then Google, Bing or DuckDuckGo free scraping) — the engine used is shown on every row. Personalisation, ads and constant SERP changes mean positions can move a place or two between checks.
Questions people ask first
Do I need an API key?
No. RankRadar works out of the box with free country-locked scraping. Adding your own Serper.dev or SerpAPI keys just makes runs much faster.
How many credits does a keyword use?
On Serper.dev one top-100 keyword check costs 2 credits, so a free 2,500-credit account covers roughly 1,250 keywords.
What happens when a key runs out?
RankRadar moves to your next key in priority order, and falls back to the free engines when every key is exhausted.
Can I re-check only the failures?
Yes. Every finished run has a Retry failed only action, so you never re-spend credits on keywords that already resolved.
